Aims and Scope
The Uzbek Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism is the flagship publication of the Republican Specialized Scientific-Practical Medical Center of Endocrinology named after Academician Y.Kh. Turakulov. The journal aims to publish the latest research in the field of endocrinology and metabolism conducted in Uzbekistan. It also welcomes interesting research manuscripts from other countries.
The journal covers studies in epidemiology, etiopathogenesis, diagnostics, therapeutic interventions, and prevention of endocrine disorders. While it primarily focuses on clinical aspects of endocrinology and metabolism, fundamental scientific research with clinical significance is also accepted.
The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, guidelines, commentaries, and letters to the editor. All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process, in which each submission is evaluated by at least two reviewers. The final decision on publication is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on the recommendations of the handling editor and reviewers' comments.
Publication Frequency
Four issues per year (March, June, September, and December).
International Standards
The journal fully adheres to international standards of editorial policies and publication ethics established by ICMJE, CSE, WAME, and COPE.
Open Access Policy and Copyright
The journal is available online for free. All online content is used under the CC BY license as part of the open-access policy. The journal retains the copyright for published articles.

The editorial board does not charge authors for preparation, submission, or publication of materials.
Disclosure Policy and Conflicts of Interest
Unpublished data obtained from submitted manuscripts cannot be used in personal research without the author's written consent. Information or ideas acquired during the peer review process related to potential benefits must remain confidential and cannot be used for personal gain.
Reviewers must not participate in the evaluation of manuscripts if they have conflicts of interest due to competitive, collaborative, or other relationships and connections with any of the authors, companies, or organizations associated with the submitted work.
Plagiarism and Borrowing
The editorial board of the Uzbek Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism reserves the right to check submissions for plagiarism using the Antiplagiarism system. If extensive borrowing is detected, the editorial board follows COPE guidelines.
Preprint and Postprint Policy
Upon submission, authors must confirm that the manuscript has not been previously published or accepted for publication in another scientific journal. When referencing an article published in the Uzbek Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism, authors are requested to include a full URL link to the official journal website.
Manuscripts previously posted by authors on personal or public websites that do not belong to other publishers are eligible for consideration.
